Yes, Construction Projects Pty Ltd is a Registered Building Practitioner registered with the Building Practitioners Board. Consumers need to be aware that only registered building practitioners should be engaged to undertake domestic building work with a value greater than $5,000. If a consumer uses a builder who is not registered, they potentially accept all the legal risks for the unregistered builder and the sub-contractors. The consumer will have no protection if the builder fails to complete the work, and lose the right to claim against defective or non-complying work. Consumers should also be aware that all building work over $12,000 must be accompanied by six year home warranty insurance.

When can you start?

Schedules will vary due to the scope and nature of your project. However, in most cases a typical project would commence within six weeks after contract signing and the issuing of permits.

Do I need to move out during construction?

All construction work is planned to cause minimal disruption to you and your family. In most cases you are able to remain on site while works are carried out. However, should it be necessary to move out during construction, we can minimize the time away from the home with proper planning of the project.

Will we be kept informed with the building schedule and other requirements of each Stage?

Communication is the number one key for a smooth and flowing project and we guide you through the process and communicate at all times. Meetings prior to commencement of your project and weekly site meetings with our Project manager are arranged to discuss progress.

What type of contract do you use?

It is a Victorian Government approved contract provided by either the Housing Industry Association of Victoria or the Master Builders Association of Victoria. All contracts have fixed price and a guaranteed completion date.

A genuine fixed price quotation will be supplied with a thorough project specification listing all inclusions and exclusions related to the project.

Yes, we provide an after hours emergency contact number should anything unforeseen occur during the construction period.

Does your company guarantee a final completion date?

We guarantee your project will be completed on time. If it goes even one day over time, we will compensate you for the delay. Our commitment is to providing you with piece of mind and to take the stress and worry out of your project.
